Demon Slayer takes the crown. Kaguya-sama matches it trophy for trophy.

Over 11 million fans voted at the 4th Crunchyroll Anime Awards, hosted by WWE's Xavier Woods and Tim Lyu. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba won Anime of the Year and tied Kaguya-sama: Love Is War for the most wins of the night, three apiece.

Edition of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards

Two shows tied. Only one got the crown.

The fourth Crunchyroll Anime Awards, hosted by WWE wrestler Xavier Woods and Tim Lyu, crowned Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime of the Year, its main win among three trophies that also included Best Boy for Tanjiro Kamado and Best Fight Scene for Tanjiro and Nezuko's fight against Rui. *Three wins, and the biggest one of the night.*

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War matched that total exactly, taking Best Couple for Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane, Best Comedy, and Best Ending Sequence for Konomi Kohara's Chikatto Chika Chikaa. Mob Psycho 100's second season and The Promised Neverland both picked up two wins apiece, and Canadian composer Mocky won Best Score for his work on Carole & Tuesday, beating out Demon Slayer's own Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

This edition brought back Best Couple, Best Score, Best Drama, and Best Comedy after they sat out the previous year, introduced Best Fantasy for the first time (won by The Promised Neverland), and handed out the first Industry Icon Award to Wit Studio president George Wada. Over 11 million fans voted across it all.
