10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026

My Hero Academia's final season won this two ways: with the loudest fan vote of the night, and with The Weeknd walking on stage to hand the trophy over himself. Dandadan and The Apothecary Diaries both had louder nomination counts, but ten years of underdog energy from Class 1-A finally cashed out.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle was never really in doubt here. A $781 million box office run tends to do that. Consider this the opening trophy in what became a seven-win night.

Gachiakuta's grime-and-glow aesthetic won over Kyoto Animation's City the Animation and Dandadan's chaotic backdrops. That's three wins for Bones Film by the end of the night.

Dandadan took its one clean win of the night here, beating Spy x Family and Ranma1/2 for laughs. Everywhere else, its 20 nominations, most of anyone, mostly just piled up without converting.

The Apothecary Diaries season 2 won a genuinely brutal field, beating Takopii's Original Sin and The Summer Hikaru Died for the trophy built for quiet, devastating storytelling.

Re:Zero season 3 reminded everyone why it basically reinvented the modern isekai comeback arc, beating Konosuba's bonus stage and Zenshuu for this one.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity won the romance category outright, ahead of Blue Box and My Dress-Up Darling season 2. Quiet and deliberate, and exactly what voters wanted this year.

Spy x Family season 3 took this over Kyoto Animation's City the Animation and Anne Shirley. A family of spies winning slice of life is either very funny or exactly the point.

Maomao took this from a field that included Deku, Momo, Okarun, Rudo, and Sung Jinwoo. The Apothecary Diaries' poison-tasting problem solver remains one of the most quietly compelling leads on TV right now.

Katsuki Bakugo won for My Hero Academia's final season, beating a stacked Apothecary Diaries bench and Dandadan's Jin Enjoji. One of four trophies for MHA by the end of the night.

Anya Forger took this for Spy x Family, fighting off Maomao, Deku, and Takopii for the honor. Genuinely one of the least controversial results of the night.

Kenshi Yonezu's Iris Out for Chainsaw Man: The Movie: Reze Arc won, beating out his own duet with Hikaru Utada from the same film. Yes, he was nominated against himself. Yes, he still won.

Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina's score for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle took this, beating Gachiakuta's Taku Iwasaki and Solo Leveling's Hiroyuki Sawano. Trophy number three of seven for the night's biggest winner.

AiNA THE END's On The Way for Dandadan season 2 won this, the one trophy Dandadan's 20 nominations actually converted here. Yoasobi's Witch Watch opener put up a real fight.

BUMP OF CHICKEN's I closed out My Hero Academia's final season and took this trophy, MHA's fourth of the night. Lilas Ikuta's Spy x Family ending and Dandadan's WurtS entry both went home empty-handed.

Aoi Yuki took this one for her performance as Maomao in The Apothecary Diaries season 2, edging out a field that included Mayumi Tanaka's Luffy and Chiaki Kobayashi's turn in The Summer Hikaru Died. One of the tightest, most stacked categories of the night.

Lucien Dodge won for voicing Akaza in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the first of what became a five-language sweep for the character. Alexis Tipton's Reze and Justin Briner's Deku both went home empty-handed.

Jose Antonio Toledano's Akaza won here too, stretching the character's streak into Latin Spanish. Desireé González's Maomao put up the strongest fight of the field.

Carles Teruel made it three languages for Akaza, beating a genuinely global field that included Adrián Pineda's Rudo and Cristina Peña's Reze.

The one language where Akaza didn't win. Bastien Bourlé took this for voicing Izuku Midoriya, My Hero Academia's fourth trophy of the night, beating Bruno Mullenaerts' Enjin and Clara Soares' Reze.

Gerrit Schmidt-Foß made it four languages for Akaza's dub sweep, beating Laurine Betz's Reze and Dirk Bublies' Detective Conan performance.

Mosè Singh broke Akaza's streak entirely, winning for Denji in Chainsaw Man: The Movie: Reze Arc. The one dub language that didn't go the demon's way.

Charles Emmanuel closed out Akaza's run with a fifth language win, beating Fabio Lucindo's Bakugo and Ursula Bezerra's Goku for the trophy.

Tatsuya Nagamine, the director behind One Piece's anime and a career stretching back to Ojamajo Doremi and PreCure, took this year's honorary award. He wasn't there to accept it himself, so his longtime friend and collaborator Masayuki Sato took the stage in his place. The kind of tribute you can't fake.
