Synopsis
After years of unrequited yearning, honest high schooler Naoya Mukai finally convinces his beloved childhood friend Saki Saki to be his girlfriend. His domestic happiness is thrown into pure turmoil when sweet classmate Nagisa Minase confesses her feelings to him after months of grueling self-improvement. Unable to reject Nagisa's earnest devotion or betray Saki's trust, Naoya proposes a shameless solution: dating both girls simultaneously with mutual transparency. When Saki reluctantly agrees, the trio begins a chaotic cohabitation arrangement. Constant jealousy, absurd moral dilemmas, and intrusive internet streamers turn every single afternoon into loud, slapstick mayhem.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Based on Hiroyuki's uproarious romantic comedy manga serialized in *Weekly Shounen Magazine*, this television adaptation was produced by Tezuka Productions and directed by Satoshi Kuwabara. Premiering in July 2021 across twelve episodes within the Animeism programming block, the series earned a dedicated following for its frantic shouting humor, colorful high-energy animation, and self-aware romantic absurdity. Its strong domestic and international streaming performance led to a second season broadcast in fall 2023 produced by SynergySP.
