Story
Synopsis
Sasaki, a burned-out forty-five-year-old office worker, finds his only real comfort in stolen smoke breaks and a friendly cashier named Yamada at his local supermarket. When he can't find her one particularly rough day, a mysterious, teasing woman named Tayama invites him to smoke with her instead, and Sasaki has no idea the two women are actually connected. What unfolds is an unlikely, understated workplace romance built on shared exhaustion, dry humor, and small moments of honesty between adults who have mostly given up expecting much from life, until they meet each other.
