About the studio
Bit grooove promotion has a slightly unusual founding story: the current legal entity dates to July 2020, formed by the merger of two predecessor companies, Groove (established 2010 by Toshiki Kameyama) and Bit Promotion Inc. (established May 2012 by Katsuhiko Matsubara). *Two companies dating back over a decade combining to make one that's technically only a few years old, corporate math is weird sometimes.* Based in Nakano, Tokyo, and a member of the Japan Voice Producers Federation, Bit grooove promotion works on voice actor casting and sound production for anime, with credits on Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent, and Non Non Biyori Nonstop. Whichever founding date you count, its two lineages give it a genuinely deeper bench of casting and sound experience than a five-year-old company name might suggest.
