Story

Synopsis

Takumi Fujiwara has been delivering tofu up and down Mount Akina in his father's old Toyota AE86 since he was thirteen, which means he's spent years unknowingly mastering the mountain's every corner at speeds nobody sane would attempt. When a visiting street racing team comes looking for local talent, Takumi's casual, almost bored brilliance behind the wheel starts turning heads across the region. He doesn't particularly care about racing, which somehow makes him more terrifying to opponents who've trained their whole lives, and his reluctant rise through the street racing scene becomes impossible to ignore.
