Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa · 2005
Two separated brothers breach reality to reunite.
Concluding the storyline of the original 2003 anime series, this film finds Edward Elric living in Munich, Germany, in 1923, having been hurled through the Gate into our parallel, non-magical world. Unable to use alchemy, Ed works on rocketry alongside Alfons Heiderich, seeking a way back to his homeworld. His efforts intersect with the Thule Society, an occult paramilitary faction led by Dietlinde Eckart, which plots to open the gateway to Shamballa, Ed's alchemy world, to loot magical technology for Hitler's upcoming Beer Hall Putsch. Meanwhile in Amestris, Alphonse Elric searches desperately for his lost older brother.
