Synopsis
A legendary blue sapphire lost at sea centuries ago resurfaces in Singapore, drawing Kaitou Kid and, unavoidably, Conan, who arrives without his usual equipment and in a body that has temporarily reverted in a way that complicates everything. Makoto Kyogoku's involvement adds a martial arts dimension to the case, and the investigation moves through auction houses and shipwrecks toward a killer with considerably more at stake than jewel theft. The setting change gives the franchise unusual visual variety. Every lead pulls him further from the resources he normally relies on.
