Story

Synopsis

Tatsuhiro Satou has been a hikikomori for four years, rarely leaving his apartment and convinced that a shadowy organization called the NHK is responsible for engineering his condition. When a girl named Misaki appears and offers to cure him through a mysterious project, he agrees, mostly because refusing would require more effort. What follows is a bleakly funny, often painful look at social withdrawal, depression, and mutual dependence, as two damaged people attempt to fix each other while carefully avoiding any honesty about why they need it.
