Story
Synopsis
This special returns to Violet Evergarden's world for a compact story about the Auto Memory Dolls, the professional letter-writers who put other people's feelings into words for a living. Violet continues her slow, painful education in what emotions actually mean, having spent her formative years as a weapon rather than a person who was allowed to feel anything. The piece leans on the same quiet, deliberate storytelling as the main series, using a small assignment as a window into grief, memory, and the strange intimacy of writing something on a stranger's behalf.
