Synopsis
Steel Ball Run reboots JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in an alternate 1890s America, where a paralyzed ex-jockey named Johnny Joestar enters a brutal, cross-continent horse race called the Steel Ball Run for a fifty-million-dollar prize. He is pulled into it by Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious rider who fights using the spinning technique. As the race grinds on, it becomes clear the real prize is not the money: it is the scattered body parts of a corpse rumored to grant miracles to whoever assembles it. Expect wild Stand battles, standout new characters, and JoJo's usual blend of gothic melodrama and absurd, glorious style.
