Synopsis
While journeying through the Kalos region, trainer Satoshi and Pikachu are caught in a tremendous shockwave when the mythical steam-powered creature Volcanion plummets from the heavens. A magnetic technological chain binds Satoshi to Volcanion, forcing the reluctant human to accompany the beast on a perilous rescue mission. Volcanion harbors a deep distrust of humans, yet needs aid to reach the steampunk metropolis of the Azoth Kingdom. A corrupt royal counselor named Alva has kidnapped Magearna, an ancient artificial mechanical soul created five centuries ago, plotting to weaponize its mystical Soul-Heart to conquer the kingdom.
