Synopsis
Toua Tokuchi is a gambler first and a pitcher second, and when a struggling professional team recruits him, he negotiates a contract where he earns money for every out and loses money for every run allowed. What follows is less a sports story than a psychological duel, as Tokuchi reads batters, manipulates umpires, and exploits his own team's ownership with the cold precision of someone who genuinely does not care about winning for its own sake.
