Synopsis
Ginko keeps drifting from village to village, treating people afflicted by Mushi, ancient, primal life forms invisible to most people but woven into the roots of the natural world. Each encounter unfolds like a self-contained folk tale: a family cursed by an inherited affliction, a village haunted by something just beyond understanding, a quiet tragedy shaped by forces nobody can fully control. Ginko rarely fixes things with force, usually just patient understanding and hard-won knowledge, and that restraint is exactly what makes the show so distinct. It is slow, contemplative, and eerily beautiful, closer to folklore than typical fantasy adventure.
