Story

Synopsis

Ginko encounters Kaya, a young girl with branches growing from her body, and discovers she has become the lord of a thriving mountain, an unusual role typically reserved for animals rather than humans. As her worried older brother searches for the sister he lost during a storm years earlier, the film unfolds Kaya's quiet, aching dilemma: stay bound to her duty maintaining the mountain's fragile balance, or return to the human family that never stopped looking for her. It is gentle, melancholic, and true to the franchise's core belief that not every conflict needs a villain to feel genuinely moving.
