Story
Synopsis
Continuing their descent into the Abyss, Riko and Reg arrive at the Golden City, a settlement of people who have chosen to live within the pit's crushing depths rather than return to the surface. What initially looks like a haven turns out to be built on horrifying compromises, forcing the two travelers to confront just how far people are willing to go, and what they are willing to sacrifice, to survive somewhere this unforgiving. It pushes the franchise's signature blend of wonder and horror even further, refusing to let its young protagonists, or its audience, look away.
