Synopsis

Light Yagami, a brilliant, bored high schooler, finds a mysterious notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it while picturing their face. Convinced he can use it to cleanse the world of criminals and remake society under his own moral vision, Light begins a killing spree that draws the attention of L, an eccentric, reclusive genius detective determined to catch him. What follows is a relentless, high-stakes battle of wits between two brilliant minds, each certain the other is the true villain, spiraling further into obsession and moral compromise with every move.

Death Note is based on Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga, animated by Madhouse, and aired from 2006 to 2007. It became a global phenomenon, widely credited with introducing a huge wave of Western viewers to anime through its intense, cerebral cat-and-mouse plotting rather than typical action spectacle. Light and L remain two of the most iconic characters in anime history, and the series' moral ambiguity, refusing to offer an easy hero, has kept it a constant subject of debate and analysis nearly two decades after its original broadcast.

Death Note is an absolutely amazing anime if you're starting to watch anime recently, and this is one of those anime that actually got me hooked on how deep storytelling can be, how you can sew a psychological nature into an anime with absolutely brilliant writing and top-notch animation. Really, really love it. It is a must; it's a must-watch anime for any anime watcher out there.

Death Note" anime ki duniya ka ek undisputed king aur perfect gateway anime hai.
Agar aap psychological thrillers ke fan hain, toh isse behtar kuch nahi. Story ek brilliant student Light Yagami aur eccentric genius detective 'L' ke beech ke mind-bending cat-and-mouse game par based hai. Unke mind-games aur strategies itni intense hain ki aap ek pal ke liye bhi screen se nazar nahi hata payenge.
Ye anime sirf suspense nahi deta, balki ek deep moral question bhi poochta hai: "Kya justice ke naam par bure logon ko maarna sahi hai?" Iske plot twists, dark vibe aur gripping story isko ek absolute masterpiece banate hain. Agar nahi dekha, toh aap bahut kuch miss kar rahe hain
