Synopsis
A Faberge egg surfaces in Osaka, drawing Kaitou Kid into a heist and Conan into the investigation surrounding it. The trail leads to a castle and a decades-old murder tied to a family history that several people would prefer stayed buried. Heiji Hattori joins the case, giving Conan a genuine deductive rival rather than an audience, and the film builds toward a climax involving explosives, a burning castle, and considerably higher physical stakes than the mystery initially suggested. Every clue points toward a history several families would rather remained buried.
