Story
Synopsis
The existential war between the Kingdom of Krisna and the expansionist Athens Commonwealth reaches its bloody zenith as General Borcuse leads his veteran invasion armada directly toward the royal capital of Binonten. With Krisna's elite military commanders slaughtered and defensive fortifications crumbling, King Hodr and Queen Sigyn prepare for a catastrophic siege. Incapable of manipulating quartz magic but uniquely qualified to pilot the ancient, un-enchanted golem Delphine, young farmer Rygart Arrow arms his mechanical titan with heavy prototype armor and an enormous throwing lance to mount a desperate counterattack against Borcuse.
⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Borcuse's mobile divisions breach Binonten's outer perimeter, executing captured soldiers and pushing Krisna defenders toward unconditional surrender. Overwhelmed by righteous fury following the sacrificial death of his friend Girge, Rygart launches the Delphine straight into the burning city square. In a ferocious mechanized duel, Rygart impales Borcuse's customized Hykelion golem with the heavy lance, killing the ruthless Athenian commander on the battlefield. With Borcuse dead, the demoralized invasion force withdraws in total disarray, securing Krisna's survival while leaving Rygart deeply traumatized by the horrors of industrialized warfare.
