Story

Synopsis

This feature film recuts Attack on Titan's climactic final chapters into a single, theater-length experience. Eren Yeager, having learned the full, brutal truth about Paradis and the world's hatred of Eldians, sets the Rumbling in motion: an unstoppable tide of Colossal Titans marching to annihilate everything beyond his island. His former friends, now scattered across shifting loyalties and impossible choices, must set aside their grief and anger to mount one final, desperate mission to stop him before there is nothing left to save. It is the franchise's ending, condensed into its most cinematic form yet.

Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK compiles the final two special episodes of the Final Season into a 145-minute theatrical film, based on Hajime Isayama's manga and produced by MAPPA. It first released in Japanese theaters in 2024 and has since been rereleased internationally, including a 4K theatrical run through Crunchyroll Anime Nights in 2026. Rather than adapting new material, it repackages the anime's already broadcast conclusion into a polished cinematic cut, giving fans and newcomers alike a way to experience the franchise's controversial, widely discussed ending on the big screen.
