Story

Synopsis

After perishing in a sudden bus accident, exhausted corporate salaryman Arihito Atobe is reincarnated into Labyrinth Country, a realm where newcomers earn their livelihood as dungeon seekers. Intending to pursue an unhurried, comfortable second existence, Arihito registers with the Seekers Guild, only to receive the completely unheard-of class designated as Rearguard. Lacking direct offensive spells, he soon discovers his specialized positioning provides astonishing defensive enhancements, party healing, and tactical battlefield control. Banding together with courageous female warriors to conquer subterranean mazes, Arihito uses his modern project management skills to turn overlooked support abilities into the dungeon's ultimate trump card.
