Story
Synopsis
Ryoma Echizen returns to Japan after winning four consecutive American junior tournaments and enrolls at Seishun Academy, whose tennis club is among the strongest in the country and does not hand starting positions to first-years regardless of reputation. Ryoma's technical ability and considerable arrogance collide with upperclassmen who have earned their positions through years of work. The series escalates its tennis into increasingly implausible techniques while keeping its focus on a team whose members each carry their own competitive obsessions.
