Synopsis

Haruhi Suzumiya announces on her first day that she is only interested in aliens, time travelers, and espers, and then founds a club to find them. Kyon, roped in against his will, discovers that the three other members she recruited are in fact an alien, a time traveler, and an esper, all assigned to observe Haruhi because she can unconsciously reshape reality and must never learn it. The series is broadcast out of chronological order and treats its own structure as part of the puzzle.
