Story

Synopsis

Selected to perform at a prestigious international music gathering held on an idyllic tropical island resort, the talented idol starlets of 765 Production split into specialized promotional units. Whether rehearsing upbeat pop songs, participating in island sightseeing tours, or relaxing along sparkling sandy beaches, the girls polish their choreography for the festival showcase. Under the warm southern sun, friendly rivalries push Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, and their agency peers to overcome performance jitters and bring smiles to audiences. Together, they create unforgettable stage memories while celebrating their shared artistic bonds.

Produced by A-1 Pictures under director Atsushi Nishigori, these three special original video animations were bundled with Bandai Namco Games' PlayStation Portable rhythm games *Honey Sound*, *Funky Note*, and *Groovy Tune* in October 2012. Featuring vibrant character animation, expressive concert staging, and dedicated musical numbers composed for each unit, the specials captured the charm of the celebrated 2011 television anime. The episodes were later remastered and released on home video as *The Idolmaster Shiny TV* in 2013.
