Story

Synopsis

Possessing god-tier instant recovery magic that mends severed limbs and heals fatal wounds in fractions of a second, young healer Zenos is unceremoniously kicked out of his selfish adventurer party for being seemingly useless. Wandering into the lawless slums without a medical license, Zenos decides to open an unlicensed underground clinic catering to outcasts, destitute demi-humans, and impoverished criminals. His astonishing medical miracles quickly attract the attention of powerful underworld figures and noble defectors alike. While his former party falls apart without his silent support, Zenos builds a loyal empire in the city's shadows.

Adapted from Sakaku Hishikawa's light novel series illustrated by Daburyu, this dark fantasy medical adventure was animated by studio Makaria under director Joe Yoshizaki. Airing twelve episodes in spring 2025 across Japanese television networks, the series provided a refreshing twist on the party expulsion subgenre through its focus on illicit back-alley surgery, medical economics, and satisfying karma. The production was praised for its sharp pacing, energetic voice cast, and charismatic antihero lead.
