An apathetic schoolgirl awakens alien psychokinetic powers amidst bizarre robotic chaos.
Synopsis
Fourteen-year-old Hidomi Hibajiri lives an utterly monotonous everyday life, constantly wearing bulky cat-ear headphones to tune out the world while helping at her mother's quiet cafe. Her bleak apathy is obliterated when an eccentric, bass-wielding alien woman named Haruha Raharu violently runs her over on the street. That night, an immense mechanical robot materializes through the forehead of her awkward classmate Ko Ide. When mysterious horns sprout from Hidomi's own skull, she is plunged into surreal warfare between Medical Mechanica's industrial monoliths and galactic rebel factions, forcing the detached youth to confront her buried adolescent desires.
