Story
Synopsis
Kaitou Kid announces his intention to steal two swords held by a powerful zaibatsu in Hakodate, drawing both Conan and Heiji north. The investigation uncovers a murdered legal advisor, an arms dealer with his own interest in the case, and a treasure hidden since the Edo period, locatable only by assembling five katana forged by the same swordsmith. Conan, Heiji, and Kid end up working the same problem from three directions, with Kazuha's relationship with Heiji complicating things considerably. Every murder narrows the field of who actually knows where the treasure lies.

The twenty-seventh Detective Conan film, directed by Chika Nagaoka and based on Gosho Aoyama's manga, The Million-Dollar Pentagram was released in 2024 and became one of the highest-grossing entries in the entire franchise.
