Synopsis
Years after the Zero Requiem, C.C. travels with Lelouch's body seeking a way to restore a mind that was deliberately destroyed. When Nunnally and Suzaku are abducted by a foreign kingdom pursuing its own use for Geass, the situation demands exactly the kind of strategist the world agreed to be rid of. The film brings Lelouch back into a conflict he thought he had permanently resolved, forcing him to reckon with whether a man who staged his own execution is entitled to a second life.

Produced by Sunrise as a direct sequel to the recap film trilogy rather than to the original television broadcast, Lelouch of the Re;surrection required the trilogy's narrative alterations to be possible at all.
