Synopsis

In a grotesque post-apocalyptic metropolis where all traditional energy sources have vanished, society runs entirely on human excrement, rewarded by the government with juicybars, an addictive popsicle-like narcotic. Constant consumption of juicybars mutates desperate addicts into blue, diaper-wearing dwarves known as the Diaper Gang. Aachi and Ssipak are two streetwise, foul-mouthed slum hustlers who make a living trading black-market bars. Their fortunes explode when they meet Beautiful, an aspiring actress whose black-market chip glitch causes her to produce hundreds of juicybars with every bathroom visit. Pursued by mutated gangs and cyborg police, the duo embarks on a chaotic survival chase.

⚠ Background — may contain spoilers
Independent South Korean animation studio Jukeboi produced this outrageous eighty-seven-minute flash-animated action comedy, released in South Korean theaters in June 2006. Directed by Jo Beom-jin, the film was developed over eight grueling years, pushing the boundaries of digital 2D and 3D kinetic animation. Featuring vocal performances by top Korean comedians Ryoo Seung-bum and Im Won-hee, the production gained international cult renown for its kinetic John Woo-style gunplay, absurd toilet humor, and relentless pop-culture satire. The movie won the prestigious Best Animated Feature award at the 2007 Sitges Film Festival.
