Synopsis
After a lifetime of raiding and bloodshed, Thorfinn wakes up as an enslaved farmhand, stripped of his sword and, more painfully, his old purpose: revenge. Season 2 trades Viking battlefields for quiet fields and hard labor, following Thorfinn as he slowly, reluctantly, begins questioning everything violence ever taught him. Alongside fellow slave Einar, he starts imagining a different kind of life, one without war, even as the world around him keeps pulling him back toward conflict. It is a bold, patient pivot for the series, proving that a story about Vikings can be just as gripping when it is about peace as when it is about war.
