Yashiro is a high-ranking yakuza lieutenant and the head of the Shinsei enterprise, masking deep psychological childhood trauma beneath a cold, promiscuous exterior and a notorious reputation for masochism. He hires Chikara Doumeki, a stoic former police officer recently released from prison, to serve as his personal bodyguard and chauffeur. Although Yashiro strictly enforces a policy of never sleeping with his subordinates, he develops a powerful fascination with Doumeki's silent devotion. However, Doumeki suffers from psychological impotence, creating an agonizing, unresolved emotional tension between two deeply damaged men.

An escalating internal turf war threatens Yashiro's life as rival syndicate factions attempt to assassinate him. Doumeki repeatedly puts his body on the line to shield Yashiro from gunshots, confirming his absolute, unconditional loyalty. Yashiro attempts to seduce Doumeki, but Doumeki breaks down and confesses that his impotence stems from childhood abuse, though he genuinely loves Yashiro. Yashiro survives a close-range shooting with severe abdominal wounds. Recovering in the hospital, Yashiro deliberately fires Doumeki to protect the young man from the lethal yakuza underworld, leaving both men heartbroken.
