Story
Synopsis
In the bustling metropolis of Stern Bild City, corporate superheroes with superhuman NEXT abilities compete for heroism points on the popular reality broadcast Hero TV. Veteran hero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, Wild Tiger, continues his crime-fighting partnership with Barnaby Brooks Jr. in the lower second division. When media conglomerate Apollon Media acquires new ownership under ruthless tycoon Mark Schneider, Kotetsu is demoted, and Barnaby is partnered with Golden Ryan, an arrogant, high-flying hero with gravity-manipulation powers. Kotetsu must accept a support role while Stern Bild is targeted by bizarre mythological curses linked to the city's founding gods.

The terrorist crisis is revealed to be the work of three rogue NEXT operatives seeking revenge against Stern Bild's founding corporate families. When Golden Ryan's gravity field is overwhelmed, Kotetsu rushes into the fray in his Wild Tiger armor, proving that true heroism is defined by heart rather than corporate ratings. Reunited as partners, Tiger and Barnaby coordinate their Good Luck Mode strikes, defeating the supreme terrorist avatar atop the Justice Tower. Mark Schneider's callous exploitation is exposed on live television, prompting Barnaby to leave the premier division and return to the second league alongside Kotetsu.
