Synopsis
This alternate continuation imagines what happens if Okabe Rintarou never managed to save Kurisu Makise, leaving him a hollow shell who has abandoned his mad scientist persona entirely, convinced he no longer deserves to call himself Hououin Kyouma. As new characters and old threats pull him back into the world of time travel and the shadowy Committee of 300, Okabe has to decide whether he can find the will to fight for a better future when he has already, in his mind, failed the one that mattered most. It is darker and more psychologically brutal than the original series, doubling down on consequence and grief.
