Salted Fish

Living as a permanent houseguest in his exasperated aunt's home on a quirky coastal island, Xian Yu Ge embraces the literal and philosophical lifestyle of a salted fish, doing as little work as humanly possible. However, the relentless demands of island rent, grocery bills, and absurd domestic crises continually shatter his dreams of lounging. Taking on odd jobs ranging from beach lifeguard to marketplace courier, Xian Yu Ge's lazy shortcuts trigger spectacular comedic catastrophes. As the sacred annual Fish God Festival approaches, the lovable slacker forms touching bonds with the island's eccentric residents.
