Synopsis
Thirty years after half the world's population spontaneously combusted, a subset of humanity called Burnish can generate and control flame, and are systematically detained for it. Galo Thymos serves in Burning Rescue, a firefighting unit that treats Burnish as the enemy, until his confrontation with the radical leader Lio Fotia forces him to reconsider what he has been fighting for. The film runs at maximum intensity throughout, with a color palette and geometric visual style that never once slows down. Every frame is saturated, angular, and moving faster than seems strictly advisable.
