Story

Synopsis

This one finally hands the spotlight to Zoro. The Straw Hats land on Asuka Island, home to the legendary Seven Star Sword, and quickly get tangled in its dark power. Zoro reunites with Saga, a friend from his old dojo days, but the cursed blade has twisted Saga into something dangerous. As the sword threatens to plunge the whole island into chaos, Zoro must face his former friend steel against steel, while the rest of the crew scrambles to break the curse before it spreads. It is a swordsman's movie through and through: heavy on honor, emotion, and the kind of duel that defines who Zoro really is.

The Curse of the Sacred Sword is the fifth One Piece film, released in March 2004 by Toei Animation.
