Synopsis
A crossover bringing Lupin III into Conan's world, this film follows the assassination of a European monarch and a princess whose resemblance to Ran creates immediate complications for everyone involved. Lupin pursues a jewel, Conan pursues a killer, and the two operate at cross-purposes while gradually recognizing that they need each other. Zenigata, Jigen, Goemon, and Fujiko appear alongside the Conan cast, and the film keeps both franchises' tonal registers intact rather than favoring either. Every plan either man makes interferes directly with what the other is attempting.
