Story

Synopsis

Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang run a small photography shop with an extraordinary side service: using Xiaoshi's power to enter a photograph and relive that exact moment, they help clients revisit painful memories, ease old regrets, or quietly solve mysteries buried in the past. Each job seems simple at first, but changing even small details inside a memory can ripple forward in ways neither of them expects. It is part supernatural mystery, part melancholic character study, building toward a much bigger, more dangerous truth about what Xiaoshi's ability is actually doing to him.

Shiguang Dailiren, released internationally as Link Click, is a Chinese donghua produced by Haoliners Animation League, airing in 2021. It quickly drew international attention as one of the strongest examples of the rapidly maturing donghua industry, praised for its tight mystery plotting, emotional depth, and film-quality animation despite its modest episode count. The series' popularity helped introduce many Western anime fans to Chinese animation as a serious creative force, and its acclaimed reception led directly into further seasons and spin-off specials expanding on Xiaoshi and Guang's story.
