Synopsis
A new campaign against Zhao kicks off the Western Zhao Invasion, dragging Shin's Hi Shin Unit and the rest of Qin's forces into another full-scale conflict as the kingdom pushes ever closer to its goal of unifying a fractured China. Familiar faces face fresh tactical challenges against a Zhao military determined not to repeat past defeats, with the series' trademark blend of grand strategy and personal stakes on full display. It is Kingdom doing what it does best: massive historical warfare that never loses sight of the individual soldiers fighting and dying within it.

Kingdom Season 6 is based on Yasuhisa Hara's manga, animated by Pierrot and its subsidiary St. Signpost, and aired from October to December 2025. It adapts the Western Zhao Invasion arc, covering roughly manga chapters 490 through 540, and retained much of the creative team from earlier seasons, including director Kenichi Imaizumi. A sequel season was announced immediately following the finale, underscoring the franchise's continued popularity nearly a decade after its anime debut and its steady reputation as one of the most consistently strong historical war epics in modern anime.
