Story
Synopsis
Joe Yabuki is a drifting delinquent with nothing to lose until Danpei Tange, a washed-up former boxing trainer, spots something in him worth salvaging. Dragged reluctantly into the ring, Joe discovers a genuine talent and a fire for boxing that becomes the one thing he'll fight for with everything he has, even as the sport threatens to destroy his body in the process. His rivalry with Toru Rikiishi becomes one of the defining relationships of the story, built on mutual respect forged entirely through violence.
