The Creatures That We Are

In a sprawling, rain-slicked cyberpunk metropolis where anthropomorphic beastkin and cybernetically enhanced humans coexist under the iron grip of predatory corporate cartels, cynical private investigator Leon is hired to locate a missing young feline heiress. Plunging into the city's neon-lit underbelly of illegal bio-modification clinics, underground fight rings, and corrupt police precincts, Leon partners with a sharp-witted fox hacker named Vesper. As they trace the heiress's digital trail, they uncover a terrifying corporate conspiracy involving black market genetic splicing that threatens to strip beastkin citizens of their civil autonomy.
