Story

Synopsis

Project D reaches its conclusion as Takumi Fujiwara faces the strongest downhill drivers the team has encountered, in races where the gap between competitors comes down to fractions of a second and nerve. Takumi's near-supernatural feel for the road meets opponents equipped with better machinery and comparable skill, forcing him to finally understand what he's actually been doing all these years behind the wheel. The series closes out both the racing and Takumi's slow evolution from an indifferent tofu delivery driver into someone who genuinely wants this.
