An anomalous roaming asteroid bearing an immense planetary citadel charts a direct collision course toward Earth. Son Goku and Kuririn deflect the celestial impact, only for monstrous extraterrestrial forces commanded by the villainous ancient Namekian warlord Lord Slug to emerge from the wreckage. Deploying atmospheric geoengineering generators, Slug freezes Earth into an icy wasteland to suit his demonic demon-clan biology while collecting Dragon Balls to restore his youth. Overpowered by the tyrant gigantic rejuvenation, Goku awakens a volatile pseudo Super Saiyan aura, relying on Piccolo tactical guidance and whistle frequencies to triumph.
