Story

Synopsis

David Martinez is just a poor kid in Night City until a life-altering tragedy pushes him to become an edgerunner, a mercenary outlaw who augments his body with cybernetic implants to survive in a world that only respects power. Chasing status, love, and a way out of the gutter, David climbs fast, too fast, as the very implants making him stronger start eroding what is left of his humanity. It is brutal, gorgeous, and unflinchingly tragic, telling a complete, self-contained story about ambition and cost within the Cyberpunk universe that never once softens its punches.
