Biography

Chuuji Nakajima is a Japanese animator with a filmography stretching back to at least the late 1970s, including an animation director and key animation credit on the TV series Galaxy Express 999 [1]. His credits include key animation on 07-Ghost, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, including its opening sequence, and an animation director credit on an episode of 5-toubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) [1]. He has also worked across several of anime's longest-running franchises, including Detective Conan, the Pokémon and Precure franchises, and Bleach, along with the Naruto film Naruto Shippuden: The Lost Tower [1]. Earlier in his career, Anime News Network's records show layout work on American animated productions, including the cartoons The Littles and Wolf Rock TV, reflecting a period of overseas subcontracted work that was common for Japanese animation studios in the 1980s [1]. No birthdate or further personal biography has been verified; his public record consists of his production credits.
